Endoscopy – Equine Services

Endoscopy can be used to help diagnose a wide array of problems with your horse that are difficult to diagnose or treat by analyzing symptoms. While the horse is sedated, a long, flexible tube tipped with a camera is inserted into the affected organs. Commonly scoped are the airway, stomach, esophagus, bladder and urinary tract. By taking a live video of the inside of affected organs Tufts Ambulatory Service can better diagnose problems with your horse and offer better treatment options.
